The Bee Museum- Plattnerhof
The Plattnerhof is an ancient and picturesque “maso” near Oberbozen. A family of merchants from Bozen, the Gramm family, bought it and transformed it into the Bee Museum, after three years of restoration. This charming maso of Wolfsgruben features the biggest private collection on South Tyrolean beekeeping. The heart of the museum is the collection of ancient hives, honey-extractors and honey presses, as well as various beekeeping tools and other typical South Tyrolean objects.
